VauxComp 1st April

A year has passed since the first VauxComp at VauxWall giving way to the anniversary and a special Marmot VauxComp! I even managed to get the day off just so I can compete. This time the dynamic duo of Ben West and Cailean Harker set the comp wall with grades ranging from V0 - VHard (V10+)! Some fun fresh blocs with plenty of volume use - Thanks to HRT for supplying Vaux with new volumes - and Jim Pope and Liam Lonsdale popping down too.

The day before the Vaux Team with Katya Creed and Jack Shorten, who had recently joined the staff, were learning and setting with myself. Some weird obscure blocks, but 25 went up, ranging from V0-V6, all for the FunComp part of the VauxComp!

Luckily the big hitter Louis Parkinson was away giving the rest of us a chance to win something. Some funky problems with weird moves but rather crimpy in places battling against my style but still managed to pull off with 172 points out of 300 and managing to come 5th! In coming 5th I still managed to win 3rd prize as Liam beat me by 8 points and Jim coming in 3rd with 265 points - both that are Marmot reps! Happy nonetheless and gaining a cool bright green bag!
